Hello, I'm Karin Leutscher, owner and creative director of studio Laleu Design Amsterdam
In my studio I create exclusive artwork for the fashion and homeware market.
As a freelance textile print and graphic designer I develop a unique hand-drawn and digital collection of commercial & contemporary textiles.
Since childhood I have a strong love for drawing, painting & of course pattern! Away from my studio and family you could find me vintage textile hunting, trend spotting, visiting a museum or gallery, sketching in botanical gardens, reading a book or playing the flute. I love to combine handdrawn with digital design and like to experiment with all kinds of medium and techniques. Coming from a graphic design background it's an asset to work in the world of textiledesign. Bringing my designs to life, playing with and understanding colour & composition. I use my technical skills to create seamless repeating tiles and for printing and prepress processes. Laleu Design can assist with any kind of artwork you may need.
